Plan to have New Run Way in BIA

Government has decided to construct a new runway in BIA. Present runway is very old and it will be made not usable in 1 or 2 years, Minister Nimal Sripala De Silva said. If this happen we will have to lose lot of Revenue.

In order to provide good services to Passengers this project will start within this year. Cost of this project will be 8 Billion. In November this year a new complex for the airport will be built up at a cost of 65 Billion Rupees.
