For and Against FCID – Coconut breaking and Face to Face Campaign

The Joint Opposition led by Bandula Gunawardena said, that they have complained about the illegality of the FCID to the President, the SLFP and the National Executive Council ,but of no results. Hence, joint opposition has decided  to go Seenigama Vihara tomorrow and  break coconuts vowing to remove FCID.

At the same time  the Deshabimana Jathika Peramuna Leader, Puspakumara said that FCID was established lawfully to investigate and prosecute those, who have committed financial crimes in Srilanka on an accelerated basis. Hence, to demand continuation of  the FCID, they organised similar campaign commencing at the same time from Ambalangoda Bus Stand  and proceeding  to Seenigama Vihara.
