Zika Virus Tests From Today at Medical Research Institute , Borella

Zika Virus is spreading like wildfire in Latin American Countries. Srilanka has taken a decision to subject all passengers flying from Latin American countries to Srilanka  for Zika  Virus Blood  Check. Separate section has been opened at BIA to divert passengers  coming from Latin America to go through this counter for Zika Virus Test.Zika Virus tests have begun today (05) at the Borella Medical Research Institute.

Required medicines and  chemicals  have been  brought from Malaysia, said the Director of Health Services, Dr. Palitha Mahipala.
