2000 Million Rupees Defrauded in a State Bank.

Lankaputhra Development Bank was established and  seriously politicized during the last government. Seventeen (17) individuals and Organizations  have been granted 2000 million rupees loans on pressure exercised by politicians. Financial Crime Investigation Unit carried out an investigation in this connection. They recorded statements from people concerned and the final report is handed over to the Attorney General’s Department.
