Election for office bearers was held recently. Deputy Speaker of House, Thilanga Sumathipala was elected the Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket in that election.
Sumathipala obtained a majority of the votes beating rivals Nishantha Ranatunga and Sumith Ratnasiri for the chair.
Minister Arjuna Ranatunga went to the Human Rights Commission today at 01 pm and lodged a complaint against the Sri Lanka Cricket.He alleged that quite a number of corrupt activities were reported during the SLC Election.
