Fuel Prices won’t be Reduced – Government

The Government has announced fuel prices won’t be reduced despite falling prices in the World Market.Fuel pricing mechanism need  to be amended by the government. Further due to  poor economic situation  in the Country and Petroleum Corporation loses ,price reduction is not possible, Cabinet decided.

That economic conditions in the country and facing the loss incurred due to the can thus further reduce fuel prices, the government said. Hence, implementing  a price mechanism to fix prices according to the World Market prices is differed.
