Raviraj Murder Suspects Further Remanded up to 25th Feb.2016

Raviraj, Member of Parliament and his Security Officer  were killed in the year 2006. Police investigation after the induction of Good Governance manged to trace murder suspects and produced before the court. Suspects are Pradeep Sminda, Gamini Seniviratne, Prasanth Hettiarachchi and Sampath Munasinghe. In this case Sampath Munasinghe came forward to give evidence as state witness. Hence, he was released on bail. He was crossed examined by defence lawyer yesterday. Sampath Munasinghe said, that period he was under  fear and gave false evidence to the police then. As now the situation is free he tells the truth without fear,he said during cross  examination.The case was postponed to 25th and cross examination will continue.
