In the event of patients with Zika virus entering the country the measures that should be taken immediately were informed to the airport officials by the he Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health.
Any person contracted with the Zika virus could easily be identified with the use of heat detection monitor installed at the Air Port,said Ministry of Health Epidemiology Unit.
Director of the Epidemiology Unit, Dr. Paba Paliyawadena said the health officers of the Airport have been well educated by the health Ministry officials about how to handle patients conformed the Zika virus.
