Cabinet Approves E-Education Project Implementation
The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to implement an E-Education Project.
The government said computer literacy is a most important factor on the development of a country and Sri Lanka has implemented several programmes aimed at improving Computer Literacy.
Accordingly the cabinet granted approval to a proposal submitted by the Minister of Science and Technology Susil Premajayanth to establish E-Education Centers in nine provinces having its main center in Colombo.
In Sri Lanka a Chinese University has proposed to implement an E-Education Project.
