Shiranthi Shed Tears in Court

Mahinda Rajapakshe , his wife Shiranthi and other well wishers were in Kaduwela court house yesterday expecting that Yoshitha Rajapakshe would be released on bail. When the bail application was taken up, Police objected on the grounds that he would interfere with witnesses . After police objection, Kaduwela Magistrate ordered Yositha to be remanded further up to 25th February 2016. On hearing Magistrate’s order , disappointed  Shiranthi reported to have shed tears. Mahinda too appeared to have been upset. Both of them left the Court premises without facing pressmen as usual.

On seeing the couple left the court in a distressed mood,women who gathered there too were seen dropping tears,observers said.
