Intensive Investigation at Welisara Navy Camp by CID

Welisara Navy camp came under intensive checking by CID yesterday. This was in response to a court order given in connection with the abduction and murder of 5 students among 11 abducted  during last regime. Vehicles and dismantled vehicle parts were subjected to checks. Vehicle  and chassis numbers reported to have been altered, said CID. Up to the evening yesterday no new evidence or material detected.

Since  latest checking by CID is on a court order,Navy Spokesman Akram Alawi declined to comment.
