Shashi finally gives statement to FCID

Shashi Weerwansa alongside former Minister Wimal Weerawansa appeared before the Financial Crime Investigation Department (FCID) to give a statement regarding questionable real-estate today (04). The former Ministers wife was due to appear before the FCID on the 28th of May however extended the date upon request, claiming ill health. The Media Spokesperson for Wimal Weerawansa’s Party (The National Freedom Party) Mohammed Muzammil stated that the statement was regarding the house the Weerawansa family currently reside in Kaduwela.
