Lakshman Yappa Declares No Election This Year

Lakshman Yappa, State Minister for Finance has called a press conference today and declared that their won’t be any election in Srilanka in the year 2016.This statement rules out local Government election this year. Reason given by the Minister for this decision is that the electoral Delimitation Commission works  cannot be completed and finalized this Year.
