Skeleton of Police officer missing since 2012 found

The Skeleton said to belong to a Police officer reported missing since 2012 has been recovered from the Ohiya Nature reserve in Bandarawela yesterday (03). Rangers taking a tour of the reserve had alerted authorities upon stumbling on the skeleton while doing a tour. Further Investigations have already commenced. A bag found near the skeleton contained a Police department ID belonging to the Vavuniya- Settikulam area in turn creating suspicion that the skeleton belongs to afore mentioned officer. A few items of clothing were also found in the bag
