Press release from meteorology Department reads thus :
“Several spells of showers will occur in the North-Central, Eastern, Uva and Southern provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Central provinces after 4.00 pm.
Misty conditions are also possible over Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces in the morning.There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity”.
