Seya Murder Case to be Heard Today

The case pertaining to the rape and murder of 5 year old Seya Sadewmi in Kotadeniyawa will be heard once again today.

The case will be taken up for hearing before Negombo High Court Judge Champa Janaki Rajaratna.

The correction of the witness report and the defence and prosecution submissions will be taken up in Court during today’s hearing.

The correction of the witness report could not be completed within 6 hours when the case was taken up last on the 19th of February.

The murder of the 5 year old was reported on the 12th of September last year.

A 32 year old individual named Saman Jayalath was charged with the murder of the child.
