Press release from meteorology Department reads thus :
“Several spells of showers will occur in the North-central, Eastern,Uva and Southern provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces after 4.00 pm.
Misty conditions are expected in some places during the morning.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity”.
