In order to prevent offences committed using sim cards, the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Srilanka has decided to register all sim cards with the help of telephone operators in the country .
Now Sim cards are purchased and used for nefarious activities. Registration of sim card will help to reduce offences of this nature.
