The Crime Investigation Department (CID) reported irregularities between the Coroner’s report and Forensics report in the death of Mohammed Wasim Thajudeen to the Colombo Magistrate Court yesterday (04).
Wasim was found burned to death in Narahenpita under suspicious circumstances.
The circumstances and incidents amounting upto the rugger player’s murder has given way to much speculation but solid evidence to confirm the suspicions are yet to come in to light.
The CID is inquiring with the Attorney General whether to re-open the case to follow upon the irregularities found.
