Avant-Garde Accountant Summoned To The CID Today

Avant-Garde Maritime Security Services Accountant is scheduled to appear before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today.

The court order was issued by Galle Chief Magistrate, Nilupuli Lankapura after the CID presented information pertaining to the Avant-Garde floating Armoury.

Accordingly, the officials attached to the CID will question relevant accounts of the company as part of the ongoing investigation. The case pertaining to the matter will be taken up for hearing once again on the 1st of September.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Commission of Inquiry also launched an investigation into transactions undertaken by Avant-Garde Maritime Security Services.
