Gunadasa , New Secretary of the Presidential Commission

H.W Gunadasa was appointed as New Secretary of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry  yesterday. He replaced Lacille de Silva who was removed from the post yesterday. Gunadasa is assuming duties today.

HW Gunadasa is currently functioning as the Secretary of the Presidential Commission of Missing Persons . He has also serves as the Chief Secretary and District Secretary of the Central Provincial Council.

The reason of the removal has not been made public yet. However a spokesman of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry said, the Commission was informed of the matter in a confidential letter by the Presidential Secretariat.
