Six Suspects Connected with Kidney Sale Arrested by CID

Six Indians suspected to be involved in buying and selling Kidneys in Srilanka were arrested by CID in Wellawatte today.

Srilankans and Indians  including a few Doctors involved in buying kidneys from poor Srilankans and smuggling them to India was disclosed in In South Indian press recently.

Followed by this, Srilanka Minister of Health , Rajitha ordered for an immediate Inquiry. But outcome of it is not known todate.
