Condemned Prisoner, Vass Gunawardana Produced in Court Today

Trader Mohamed Shiyam was  missing  as from 22nd May 2013. After two days his dead body was recovered in Dompay Area in Gampaha District. In this connection former DIG, Vass Gunawardene was arrested along with others. After  the case was  heard , death sentence was passed  on Vass gunawardena. He is in the death row now.

There were three cases filed against Vass Gunawardena. One of these cases was taken up for hearing today. He was produced at the high Court today.
