Kandy Trinity College Signs MoU To Admit Kuliyapitiya HIV Suspected Child
The son of a HIV infected mother was denied school admission in Kuliyapitiya, as parents of other children protested his admission to a school due to false rumors that the child was infected with HIV.
A week ago, some past pupils of the school initiated the attempt to get the child admitted to the school. The school authorities were also informed of this suggestion which finally led to accommodate in other schools.
Trinity College, Kandy, has signed a MoU with the Education Ministry to grand admission to the child in Kuliyapitiya, who was denied school admission due to false HIV/AIDS rumors.
