Appeal Court Examines 2 Petitions Against FCID Today

Two petitions were filed against FCID at the Court of Appeal on the 16th of February 2016. These cases will be taken up for hearing  today.before Appeals Court Chairman Vijitha K Mallalagoda.

The petitions were filed by venerable Elle Gunawansha Thera and Professor Carlo Fonseka.

The petitioners prayed for the FCID to be deemed a non-existent State Institute and abolish the Division completely.
