Fundamental Case Praying Fixed Price for Paddy and Rice

As there is no fixed price for paddy and Rice, buyers purchase Paddy and rice at different prices at different areas. This has caused much pain to farmers. In order to get a fair price fixed All Ceylon Farmer Association, Rice Manufactures and small and big Mill Owners union have filed a fundamental case in Supreme Court today through Lawyers Sunil Wadalaga and Janaka Adikari.
