2 Arrested Over 2015 Aralaganwilla Presidential Election Shooting

During 2015 Presidential Election campaign, immediately after common candidate addressed he gathering, a shooting took place. Police has arrested two former Pradeshiya Sabha members on charges of  this  shooting.

The office of the Police Media Spokesperson said the duo was arrested by officers attached to the Colombo Special Crimes Unit last night.

Police said the suspects will be produced before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate’s Court today.
