Another Suspect Arrested in Welikada Shooting Where a Pregnant Wounded

Over the shooting reported earlier  near the Welikada prison on the 5th of this month, critically injuring a pregnant woman,another suspect has been arrested

Police said the suspect was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division near the entrance of the Matara Prison yesterday.

The suspect, a 42 year old resident of Navimana, Matara was also in possession of 10 9 millimeter ammunition.

The CCD is conducting further investigations.
