Electrocution took 4 Lives in Dehiwala

Dehiwala Police received information regarding charred  bodies inside  a house in Dehiwela at around 10.00 am this morning.

The charred bodies of four individuals including two children, who are suspected to have died as a result of electrocution have been discovered at a residence in Kawdana Road, Dehiwala.

The bodies of three females and a male, believed to be from the same family, were discovered inside the residence, the police spokesman’s office said.

Police suspect that they may have died as a result of burning , however further investigations are being carried out.
