14 North Central PC Officers Summoned to Presidential Commission

In connection with alleged discrepancies over distributing 7,500 water filters amounting to 130 million rupees.fourteen officers of the North Central Provincial Council have been summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to record  their statement.

The water filters were allegedly distributed to kidney patients. The Commission of Inquiry said the Provincial Irrigation Minister, Health Minister and Agriculture Minister are among those summoned.

Investigations regarding this  incident will be carried out  today, tomorrow and on the 31st of this month.
