Pervert taught lesson to remember [Watch Video]

What creates news and what news sells to the public and what they tend to look for in the media is constantly prone to change. At times it maybe war and at times it may be politics, sometimes fraud or scandals that take the winning podium position but recently the group that makes headlines are perverts.

A sexually frustrated and disgusting part of society perverts abuse women needlessly as they force themselves upon unsuspecting victims. They are down looked upon not only in our conservative societies but even in the more liberal west. A personal view of mine is that perverts are born as a result of our conservative and sheltered culture but nevertheless cannot be discarded and left to behave as they wish.

A recent topic that was heavily discussed in past weeks was the rape incident of Vidhya in Jaffna, where the innocent victim was raped and murdered brutally to appease the lustful appetites of these monsters.

In retrospect to the common scenario where the female victim bears the brunt of these savages in silence unless salvation arrives in the form of nearby people a young girl took matters in to hand and has given a very good example of how to handle such a situation.

This young girl while travelling on a 138 Maharagama- Pettah bus was being needlessly touched by a pervert. The attached video shows how this girl teaches him a good lesson.
