Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka’s Mercy Mission

Former Army Commander, Field Marshal cum Minister ,Sarath Fonseka  in a press conference called by him today said, that he wished to see that  the man called Morris, who brought the bomb to take his live kept in prison be released. In this connection he has appealed to the President Maithree to release him. He follows the footstep of President Maithree, who pardoned  and released his assassin. This shows there is a change in the hearts and minds of  top leaders in Srilanka to forgive their assassins.
