Rice Shortage Next Year – Joint Opposition

MP Mahinda Yapa Abeywardhana says ,that it will become necessary to import rice from abroad by next year due to rice shortage.

Participating at a media briefing yesterday, convened by the Joint Opposition (JO) in Colombo, the MP said that although some had said that there was a rice surplus within the country, it was a lie.
