Regarding sudden death of Ven, Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera, doubts were expressed by clergies and certain section of the public.Some of them are with some political agenda. Regarding widespread doubts expressed, Ven. Uduwe Dhammaloka and National Movement for Social Justice (NMSJ) called for an impartial inquiry.
Ven. Dhammaloka Thera has said, he has evidence to prove that the death of Ven. Sobtitha Thera was a conspiracy.
The National Movement for Social Justice (NMSJ) called for an impartial probe yesterday. They recently wrote to both President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe urging them to initiate an urgent inquiry.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has now commenced an inquiry into the death of Ven.Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera.
