People in the Kalutara, Matara, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Kurunegala and Monaragala Districts are experiencing a drinking water crisis.
Adding fuel to fire sea water mixing with pipe water in several areas in the Kalutara and Matara districts has created a new problem.
Meanwhile Water Supply and Water Drainage Board said that due to agro-chemicals mixing with tab water in the Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Kurunegala and Moneragala districts in the dry zone , they too are facing a drinking water crisis.
Similarly the Chairman said further that providing water through bowsers was also taking place.
