Govt Determined to Increases Country’s Income Rate- Rishad

While addressing  a function in Kandy  Minister Rishad said the economy is showing steady growth, with exports recorded at 12 billion dollars. Further he said that  the government initiative is to increase the country’s income rate by four fold in four years. He added programmes will be implemented to increase exports to 50 billion dollars by the year 2020.

The Minister also said measures are also underway to pen Free Trade Agreements with the United States, Europe, Japan and China while measures will also be taken in future to strengthen investment in the country.
