Minister Ranatunga on War Path with SLC

In the Sri Lanka Cricket Election held in Janaury 2016, Thilanga Sumathipala defeated Arjuna Ranatunga. With Thilanga Sumathipala assumed office as President of SLC, Ranatunga commenced his attack on him on an off.

He made another attack on SLC administration yesterday. Being one time World Cup wining Captain,Arjuna Ranatunga cannot tolerate the current state of affairs SLC. So he said thus “the game has gone under bookies and other questionable characters “. He criticized the manner on which original selection board for the world cub replaced by the administration. He proposed to meet the Prime Minister and the President shortly to brief them the current situation at SLC. He stressed that the current administration of the SLC should be replaced by an interim committee.
