Appointment of Top Posts in UNP

Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam has been appointed as  Chairman of the Jathika Sewaka Sangamaya of the UNP.

The UNP Working Committee arrived at a unanimous decision to appoint Minister Harin Fernando as the Chairman of the Ceylon National Estate Workers Union, and to appoint MP Kavinda Jayawardene as the Chairman of the National Youth Front. Deputy Minister, Anoma Gamage was  appointed as the Chairman of the Eksath Lak Vanitha Peramuna.

The Working Committee decided to appoint Ruwan Wijewardene, Harin Fernando, Sujeewa Senasinghe, Anoma Gamage, Kavinda Jayawardene and Harsha de Silva as Assistant General Secretaries of the United National Party.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Harsha de Silva explained the decisions made by the Working Committee at a special meeting held at the UNP headquarters, Sirikotha this morning.
