Puspa Rajapakshe Summoned Before The Presidential Commission on Bribery

Former Economic Development Minister, Basil Rajapakshe’s, wife Puspa Rajapakshe was summoned  to appear before the Presidential Commission on Bribery on 7th April 2016.

Gama Neguma Fund was established to uplift the living standard of people below the poverty line.

Inquiry is in connection with the Gama Neguma  cash fraud of 10 crores. This money reported to have been spent for local air travel.

Puspa Rajapakshe will be questioned on how she obtained money from the Gama Neguma  Fund and paid for her, her husband and children’s local air travel during Mahina’s era.
