On The Eve of New Year Rise in Price of Eggs.

On the eve of new year ,the price of eggs reported to have been increased significantly  and beyond the reach of the poor man.

The  market selling retail price of an egg was Rs 15, which has now been increased to Rs 21. Pricing mechanism works with the demand and supply. During new year season, demand for eggs is at a higher level. Egg merchants quoted as saying price increase was  due to decrease in the production of eggs.
