Kankesanthurai Cement and Paranthan Chemical Factories to be Activated – Rishad

Speaking at the opening of a Lak Sathosa warehouse in the North  yesterday,Minister  Rishad  Bathiudeen said that repair work has already been commenced in Kankesanthurai Cement Factory and Paranthan Chemical Factory.  Rishad  said that the government was taking steps to recommission the major industrial plants  of the kankesanthurai Cement factory and Paranthan Chemical Corporation. These two were the major industries located in the Northern Province and stopped their work due to the outbreak of the war.
