IGP Jayasundara Assumed Duties as 34th IGP of Srilanka Today.

The newly appointed Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara , while assuming duties said that  all police officers should  be free from malpractices when taking steps  against fraud and corruption.

Further he stated if police officers are found guilty of violating the law, action will be taken against them regardless of their ranks.

The Inspector General of Police said he will commit to the welfare of police officers who will faithfully implement their duties.

IGP Pujith Jayasundara also urged all police officers to extend their support in order to administer a better service towards the public.
