Thundershowers are Expected Today
Showers or thundershowers are expected at several places over most provinces of the island particularly today (22nd April) after 2.00 pm.
Fairly heavy falls (above 50mm) are also likely at some places.
In the morning a few showers are expected in the Western and Southern coastal areas.
However Strong winds during thundershowers will occur and public is advised to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
