7 Party Leaders Demand Resignation of Opposition Leader

Leaders of 7 important political parties in Srilanka gathered in front of the official Residence  of Opposition Leader  today and demanded his resignation  from the post of Opposition Leader.

They shouted slogans  thus ” He is not fit to be the Leader  of the  opposition” .Hence, he should resign, they demanded.

Those staging the satyagraha struggle in  front of his official residence said, that Sampanthan’s group entered Gajaba Division Army Camp in Paravippanjan by force on 16th April 2016 and they vehemently condemned  the act.

He carry out false propaganda that Tamils have not got freedom and they are discriminated.They stated that Tamils are enjoying the life  without any obstacles and living peacefully and Sampanthan spread falsehood.

In this Styagraha demonstration, 7 party leaders including  Sarath Manamendra and Battaramulla Seelaratne Thero participated.

It has to be mentioned here that Gajaba Division Commander has stated to the press recently that Sampanthan and his group has not entered the Army camp fore fully  as stated, but tried to enter.
