When the accident took place where Minister Champika Ranawaka alleged to have involved was taken up for inquiry today by the Magistrate (Traffic), the police has informed the court that the sim card of the telephone used inside the vehicle during accident was registered in the name of Minister Champika Ranawaka.
Whether Champika to be arrested or not will be determined only after a report received from the University of Moratuwa on CCTV camera clippings of the accident. He ordered video clippings should be sent to the University of Moratuwa for a report.
