Private Sector Pay Rs 2,500 Salary Increase or Face Prosecution

Minister of Labour, W.D.A Seniveratne has announced in a press conference today that  the private sector employers, who failed to pay Rs 2,5oo salary increase to their  employees will be prosecuted in accordance with the labour  laws of Srilanka. He said that this increase of Rs 2,500 per month is in addition to employee’s annual increment.
