Embilipitiya Report to IGP

In a clash between the Police and  Public, Sumith Prasnna, a youth  died. Relatives alleged that it was not a case of natural death, but caused by the Police. Supporting  video clippings were produced during inquiry. Public criticism  was mounting against  Police  in action.

Hence, Police Commission has appointed a three member committee to inquire and report  on this incident. This report has now been submitted to the IGP, Pujith Jeyasundara.
