Nalin Bandara ,MP wanted Mahinda to be Questioned by Police

Udaya Weeratunga , a close relative of Mahinda Rajapakshe was appointed as Srilankan Ambassador to Russia. During his tenure there, he was involved in illegal arms dealings and alleged to have killed one of the Embassy employee. After his removal from the Ambassador post, he didn’t return to Srilanka, but disappeared.Although police wanted to question him, he was not traceable.

Mahinda Rajapakshe and his delegation made a visit to Thailand recently. During his visit, he reported to have met Udaya Weeratunga in Thailand. Member  of Parliament , Nalin Bandara said that Udya Weeratunga is a wanted man for alleged offences and Mahinda has met him. Hence, Mahinda  should be questioned on these matters, he said.
