Yet another violent end to a failed romance

Another incident where a failed romance resulted in a violent end has been reported from Aanamaduwa. The victim an underage girl of only 16 years was stabbed by her 22 year old boyfriend who had recently returned to the country. He then abandoned her and left on his bike, nearby people seeing her wounds and admitted her to the Puttlam Hospital. The Police are yet to apprehend the suspect.

The incident occurred in the AAnamadu-Konwala Kanda region. The argument is said to have taken place when the suspect had requested that they end the relationship. The girl is currently receiving treatment.
