COPE To Expose On Massive Frauds In CEB & SriLankan Airlines
High ranking officers of the CEB and the Sri Lankan Airlines backed by politicians are behind the financial misappropriation and fraud caused in both Institutions, said Chairman COPE,Sunil Handunnetti .
Further he said that COPE will recommend to the Speaker to refer those matters to the CID and Bribery Commission for thorough investigation and prosecute the perpetrators.
The Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) has decided to table submit several reports this month to the Parliament , revealing persons who misappropriated money in both Ceylon Electricity Board and Sri Lankan Airlines.
